Doug Lemov is the author of the international bestseller Teach Like a Champion–now in its 3.0 version–and The Coach’s Guide to Teaching. He is the co-author, with TLAC colleagues, of Practice Perfect, Reading Reconsidered, Teaching in the Online Classroom, the Teach Like a Champion Field Guide, now in its 3.0 version, and Reconnect. He is also the author of Doug Lemov’s Field Notes, a blog that reflects on teaching, literacy, coaching, and practice.
Doug is the founder of the Teach Like a Champion organization, a team of highly skilled trainers and educators, passionate about creating classrooms that are radically better for children. He lives near Albany, NY with his wife, three children and dog. He holds a BA in English from Hamilton College, an MA in English Literature from Indiana University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
