What Are You Working On and Why? Data-Based Decision Making
Learning Outcomes: I can use data to demonstrate that I am addressing the needs of the community I serve.
Data-informed. Data-Driven. Data-centric. With larger amounts of data than ever before, we live in a world consumed by data. This goes for our schools as well. We have more information on students, more data on student learning, and more research on best practices. What data should we be paying attention to? How should we collect it? How do we use it to make decisions for our school? With all that data and questions looming, we might just never start using data to inform our decisions. It starts with our goal, helping students learn, and with that goal in mind this sectional will work to answer the questions of: What data should we be paying attention to? How should we collect it? How do we use it to make decisions for our school?
