Guard Your Heart: Spiritual Sustainable Ministry
Learning Outcomes: I can plan routines to support a meaningful devotional life.
“Above all else, guard your heart carefully because your life flows from it.” With these words, Solomon indicates that your own spiritual health needs to be your top priority…even a higher priority than ministering to the students you serve. You will be a much more authentic and effective gospel minister if you first take the good news of Jesus to heart for yourself and those in your home. This sectional will help you to establish and maintain a robust devotional life for yourself personally and your family (as applicable). After setting that foundation, your students will more naturally see your life as a reflection of what you teach them from the Word of God.
