Jason Van Acker is a respected marketing, communication, advertising, and public relations professional with more than 20 years of experience in strategic brand development, national and local campaign strategy, and media relations. Prior to joining Wisconsin Lutheran College’s faculty, he held senior marketing leadership roles in the broadcast television, higher education, consumer franchising, and health-care industries.

Van Acker’s teaching philosophy is focused on fostering a Christ-centered learning environment and encouraging his students to apply newly learned course concepts to real-world business situations. His research interests include customer experience strategy development and the changing media landscape’s influence on integrated marketing communications.

Jason is a proud alumnus of Wisconsin Lutheran College and resides in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, with his wife and two daughters. When not serving students on campus, he enjoys traveling with his family and cheering on his beloved Green Bay Packers.
