Working Genius: Maximizing Traction Within a Faculty

Learning Outcomes: I can contribute my top skills towards a positive team dynamic on my faculty so that we can move the needle forward for projects that will impact student learning.

The focus of this track has been how schools can maximize collaboration in order to enhance student learning. This sectional focuses on maximizing the unique abilities of faculty members to work towards project completion. The 6 Types of Working Genius (Patrick Lencioni) is a framework for a group of people to get stuff done. There are six types or skills. Two give you joy and energy, two you are competent in, and two can leave you with frustration. Each member of your faculty has a unique combination of these six. When you apply Working Genius in a faculty setting, you can leverage your top skills from different members of your faculty to help get projects done.
