Building Resilience Through Christ-centered SEL
Learning Outcomes: I can implement SEL strategies with Christ at the center.
Resilience is the ability to fail or be disappointed, learn from our experience, get back up and try again. It is one of the primary attributes tied to those who are thriving, or those who have a sense of well-being, regardless of their circumstances. It is also closely tied to grit and growth mindset. We know these are all characteristics that serve our students well both in school and in the future; and we know they are skills that can be learned. But how do we intentionally teach these skills? And how do we teach them in a way that relies on how our Heavenly Creator designed us? Join us for this exploration and leave with actionable items you can implement in your classroom the next day!
