Working with Parents of Students with Special Challenges
In this thought-provoking session, Paul and Jane will share stories and common parental perspectives as well as provide opportunities for participant discussion and feedback. Through this, educators and school leaders will learn crucial information and practical ideas to help them work effectively with parents of students with disabilities and other special needs, including behavioral and emotional needs.
Paul and Jane Mose are both experienced in WELS ministry. Paul is a former pastor and Jane a current LES special educator. The two of them have raised six children having a wide variety of special needs. They have now begun a ministry under WELS Special Ministries called Light for Parents, which is a ministry of support for parents of children with extraordinary challenges.
