Shepherding Shepherds for Educational Outreach
Partnership between school staff and congregational staff is key for outreach and mission efficiency. In this presentation we will share ways school staff and leaders can encourage and make it easy for pastors and staff ministers to do what they are called and especially equipped to do in educational settings.
Rev. Paul Steinberg attended Emanuel, New London, the largest WELS grade school in its time. His wife Rebecca is a WELS teacher at St. Marcus, Milwaukee. They discipled their six children, partnering with WELS schools at every level. After serving as pastor of four WELS congregations with different WELS schools connections, he was called in 2015 to be Executive Director of Chaplains in Schools, daily serving 4,500+ children with the gospel message.
