2.3ET – Coding in Primary Grades

Many may assume computer coding to be a skill for older students, but students who cannot yet read can produce computer code and learn problem solving skills. This session will cover computer coding for preschool, primary, and middle school with a focus on apps, paper, and web-based techniques for the various grades as well as the benefits it provides to all ages.

Darnell Anthony has taught for 30 years in private, public and WELS schools with children ages infant through high school. She has experience with regular and special education in the inner city, suburbs, rural, and also on the reservation. Her educational experiences include DMLC, MLC, Mankato State, and UW-La Crosse.
