Partnering with Parents in Early Childhood Programs: A Comprehensive Approach

It is certainly essential for our early childhood programs to work closely with our young children’s parents and families. But, this means more than being in regular contact and communication with them. To truly partner with parents and benefit children the most, we must bring parents into as many areas of the program as possible. In this pre-conference session, we will discuss essential ingredients to an effective home/school collaborative program that ultimately has the greatest impact on the growth and development of our young children. We will share practical ideas that you can implement as you partner with parents to fulfill your ministry’s mission. Session topics include: evangelism and outreach events, parent education workshops, child observation and assessment, and home to school connection.
